Granny Swag

+

proud weirdo

I learned how to embroider from my childhood BFF’s Grandmom when I was 10 years old. I’ve never stopped stitching and moved into quilting and other fiber arts!

When I was 10 I also got a wire jewelry making kit for Christmas. I was set on becoming a jeweler out of high school, so I did some metalsmith training. Life took me down some other paths, but I want to make jewelry again at some point.

When my husband Conner and I met and he found out that I quilted, he called it my “Granny Swag.” And I wear that as a badge of honor!
